Most of my first week has been full of sleeping, eating, filling my diaper, and trying on lots of my clothes. I do a lot of sleeping during the day with some eating mixed in and at night I like to do a lot of eating with a little sleeping mixed in. Below are some pictures of my favorite places to sleep. Enjoy! ~Maggie
on Mama - my favorite place!
in my carseat, even in a shopping cart.
cuddling with Papa -- I don't make getting up very easy.
in my snuggly sleep sack.
napping with Nana on the couch.
in my jammies (that by the way match Mama's) after eating. pretty much anywhere...this one was a short snooze in my crib.
in my new swing. Today Momma and Nana put me in here hoping it would keep me awake. It worked for 5 minutes.

cute pics mags! looks like you're keeping mom and dad busy. enjoy your naps! i'm not surprised you dozed off in the swing...that was one of my favorites too! can't wait to hang out soon! love keely
Precious pictures!
We love pictures of Magnum.
And mom and dad, too.
:D Funny how someone who sleeps so much could be so much work! Great pictures, guys!
i think it is fitting that Magnolia has a suitable super-heroine name, given your predilection for one-piece spandex outfits, Brian. I'm surprised that you haven't yet received a matching father-daughter combo...though that may be a wise idea for "Magno's" first halloween, non?
What adorable photos! It is so frustrating being sick and not being able to come down and get acquainted with my precious new granddaughter. By the end of the week, I SHALL be there. Give her lots of hugs and kisses for me. Love, Grandma R.
I forgot to mention that swings are used by most new parents to calm down their babies and put them to sleep. Why did you think it would keep her awake?? Love, Grandma R.
Hi Carol,
You made it to the board, good for you! We put Maggie in the swing because she was so mesmerized by the bouncy seat (also known to lull babies to sleep) that we thought she might just stay awake. She's a very alert and curious baby. But also easy to settle down when she does get fussy. I think it's because she's easy to distract with sights and sounds.
Have fun with her! She's a cuddle-bug!
Love,
Teresa
