Tick, tick, tick...

I feel like a walking time-bomb, but I can't read the timer. It could be any day or it could be weeks away. Any moms out there feel that way at the end of your pregnancy?

Every plan made is tentative. Everyone comments on how it could be anytime and it might be the last time I see them without our baby. I don't mind these comments; I even make them myself. But it does intensify the feeling of impending explosion!

maybe that will help you a bit. I am no mom myself, but I'm SURE that almost every mom (or mom-to-be) has felt this way!!
She'll come out eventually!
Best wishes!

oh my gosh, YES.
But I was the crazy lady who DID attend every last event until like two days before Isaac was born. Because it made me go crazy just sitting at home WAITING for nothing to happen.

They always say, you know when you know. And that is true. Which is lame advice.....until you know....when you know. :)

Hang in there....the BEST is yet to come.

This is Jodi. I'm too lazy to log myself in on Jace's computer.

Hmmm...I thought for sure you would have had her by now. It's kind of exciting to check your blog every day wondering if today's the day I'll see Qwanesha's announcement. I've never received a baby announcement this way.

Hang in there...

Thanks, Ladies for your words of encouragement.

When I was writing the post the whole bomb thing made me think of MacGyver and how it might be great to have a pregnancy version of someone that could handle bombs with the stuff in their pockets. But then I realized that MacGyver dismantled them so they didn't go off. I definitely want to go off eventually. So I guess I'll just have to keep waiting. :)

Yeah, and despite MacGyver's seemingly inexhaustible resourcefulness, gynecology and obstetrics might be one area where he might be stumped. I don't know. Maybe not.

We don't know each other, but through aimee and jodi I check your blog. We may also have some connections through the firs..but who knows.
Have been checking to see if you have had your baby. Sorry you are late. I was a week late with my first and it drove me INSANE. And I had a rash that itched like crazy! I think I finally yelled at my tummy for the baby to come out. That night, my water exploded everywhere and the next day I had a baby. I'm not saying this would work, but it was a humorous way for me to remember going into labor.
Start planning lots of things to do that you really want to do, especially a date. maybe it will work...who knows. They come out when they are ready.

Good luck.

I recommend sitting down and watching "Junior" it will help put things into perspective for you Shannon. I don't know anyone that made me feel better when I was pregnant then Arnold did in that movie.
Maybe our babies can have a play date.

Love Scott

No, I am not trying to start labor because Brian is really sick again. (third time in 2008!) It would be nice if he was healthy when she does decide to come. :)
