An hour after putting Maggie to bed one night we started hearing sounds from her bedroom. After 30 minutes or so, Brian slipped the video camera into her dark room, so there is no picture, just sound.
The first half of month 6, Magnolia was pretty quiet, doing her usual grunts while she figured out jumping and rolling. But then all of the sudden she started babbling like crazy. It seemed like every morning she woke up with a new sound. She would try it out for a day, then a new one would come. Then she started combining them. My favorite was when she would make the "TH" sound over and over. Brian likes the ones there are no letters for.

How cute! It's so fun to hear her voice. Thanks for posting this.
I love this! She has a beatiful voice! What a great idea to capture it when she wasn't aware that anyone was listening. I heard dada, mama and NANA!!! But, mostly mama. :)
Love,
Nana
This is SO great! One of my favourite "baby memories" that my Mom has of me is a cassette tape recording of her talking to me one morning (and me "talking" back with baby sounds). What a great way to preserve the beginnings of Maggie communicating with the world. :)
Love, Natalie
